Brian Markley, CPA, serves as the managing director for SEG’s Chicago office. Brian's expertise focuses on regulatory compliance including SEC & US GAAP technical advisory as well as Sarbanes-Oxley Compliance services. Brian leads SEG’s National SEC & Regulatory Advisory practice and serves a diverse multinational client base in a broad range of industries. Brian began his career in the business assurance practice of PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP. He graduated from the University of Notre Dame and is a Certified Public Accountant in the state of Pennsylvania. |

SEG was engaged by a statewide organization to conduct fraud awareness training for more than 300 attendees at their annual conference. The session addressed auditor's roles and responsibilities relating to the detection, deterrence, and investigation of fraud. The course addressed recent regulatory guiadance and legislation as well as they audit community perspective on measuring fraud.
