SEG has the perspective of working with a number of companies to model, plan, report, and optimize their financials. Here is an example of a representative client success:
SEG was engaged by a multi-national leader in the pharmaceutical industry to support the general ledger close SOX compliance and transaction plan for six business units. The company was in the middle of outsourcing transaction processing and some accounting functions to a third party while in the midst of a SOX compliance intiative. We were able to implement additional JD Edwards reports to improve efficiency, accuracy, and timeliness of monthly close while successfully transferring knowledge and documentation of policy and procedures to third party resource. SEG also supported their monthly close, external audit, and SOX compliance for more than a year.
