Edward Baumstein has over 23 years experience in the outsourced finance and accounting industry. Ed founded SolomonEdwardsGroup, LLC (SEG) in 1999. Today, SEG is a nearly $50 million provider of business consulting services combined with a staffing resources model, focused on the chief financial officer organization. The company operates in nine major cities throughout the United States.
Ed was previously the president and chief operating officer of Acsys Inc., a $160 million, 40-office accounting, finance, and information technology staffing company that was created and taken public through the roll-up of multiple staffing companies. Previously, Ed was the president and chief executive of Acsys Resources, a $25 million company which contributed to the roll-up. He began his career with Pricewaterhouse.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Temple University in Philadelphia and is a Certified Public Accountant.
